Five Star Products is known for its HOT JOBS policy where your deadline is met and things are kept running smoothly for you. We manufacture newer and more cost effective tooling to keep cost and cycle times at an affordable level. As a unique manufacturing facility, we are small enough to care about you the customer but large enough to get the job done. Quantity is not an issue. We can develop your innovative tooling concepts and meet promised delivery times. For the really hot lead times, we can ship in less than one week.

Since 1949, Five Star Products has been meeting its customers requirements. Whether the need is do tooling made to customer drawings and specifications or for innovative solutions to perplexing problems, we can fill your needs for the highest quality tooling.

Because we're a milti-specialty shop, many of our customers view us as a "one stop" tooling depot. In addition to supplying indexable insert holders, cartridges,and boring bars, Five Star manufactures brazed tooling, solid carbide tools, HSS tooling, milling cutter blades and dovetail form tools. Besides from offering special inserts, such as threading and grooving forms, Five Star will regrind your inserts to new geometries or sizes so that substantial savings can be realized. And naturally, all inserts are offered with any desired coating.

Repair Services

We can also make changes (such as lead angles) on used tooling to try something new and prove out an idea at a much lower cost before we make a new tool.

Five Star Products maintains a complete facility to rebuild older or damaged tools at a fraction of the cost of new tooling. Our engineers will be glad to make alterations to change geometries for specific applications and tooling needs.

Generally repaired tooling costs do not exceed 50% of the cost of new and it is standard to evaluate tooling for purposes of repair and pricing.
